God Can Turn Back the Hands of Time

Time is one of the most precious things that we have today.  Some honor the gift of time by making the best of it while others take time for granted more than they should.  You may feel like it is too late for you because you think you have lost time, but as long as you are still alive, it is never too late nor is it too late for God to come through for you.  The Father’s ways are set before you and He will keep you.  You have to believe that your time has come, but you have to turn your face to the wall the way Hezekiah did.

In 2 Kings 20:1-11, Hezekiah was a ruler over the Israelites- with whom God found favor.  He believed in the Father and trusted Him as he reigned over His people.  One day, God sent His prophet Isaiah to go to Hezekiah and tell him that he was going to die.  He had to get his house in order because he wasn’t going to live that much longer.  This caused Hezekiah to turn his face to the wall and cry out to the Father because he trusted in Him and had the faith to believe in Him.  Hezekiah knew God’s record.  He knew what God had done in the past and he was able to put his trust in Him because he wanted to live.  The Father knew that he wanted, but it takes a word of faith to activate that which you stand in need of.  Hezekiah knew God had the power to heal him so he showed no room for doubt.

Shortly after Isaiah told Hezekiah that he was going to die, God told him to go back and tell Hezekiah that He was going to heal him because he heard his prayers and saw his tears.  Isaiah also gave Hezekiah specific instructions as to what he needed to do in order for his healing to happen.  When Hezekiah grew more in his confident, he wanted confirmation as to how he knew that he would be healed.  The Father gave Hezekiah a choice: he could see the time on the sundial move forward 10 steps or it could go backward 10 steps.  Hezekiah wanted the confirmation of his healing to be reflected in a way that was unheard of:  he stated he wanted the time to move backward on the sundial.  Hezekiah was used to the time moving forward, so he asked for the impossible-he and wanted the time to go backward, and the Father did just that.  He made the impossible possible in his life by turning back the hands of time.

The Father can do the same thing today in the lives of His daughters.  It doesn’t matter what you have gone through, or what you are currently going through, God can turn back the hands of time in your life.  He can restore back everything you that was lost.  From the job that they were abruptly let go of, to sexual abuse, to a miscarriage, or whatever the case may be. He can turn back the hands of time for those who turn their face to Him. When Hezekiah turned his face and had faith in God, He added 15 more years to his life.  Where is it do you need “life”?  Do you need life in your finances?  Your marriage? Your ministry or business?  Your children?  The Father is the giver of life and it is through His Son Jesus that none should perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

My prayer is that God’s daughters will turn their faces to the wall in their darkest hours of despair.  Instead of looking fearfully, they will look faithfully for the Father’s Word to deliver them and come to their rescue.  That no matter how much time has gone by, God can turn back the hands of time and restore that which they have lost in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

      Hello Chris,

I’m trusting, believing, and praying for restoration for you and your children. You may be going through a rough season in your life, but just know that this is not where the story is going to end for you. No matter how it may appear that the enemy is getting the best of you, just know that God has even greater plans for you because He said in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Do not doubt God in this season, and do not allow the enemy to make you believe that you are defeated. Continue to trust in God to do a great work for you and know that it’s going to happen. Keep pressing and know that even in the midst of this, the Father is still keeping you. I’m praying for you, Chris, and I’m speaking blessings, restoration, favor, and peace over you and your family, God bless.

Today Sunday 12 July 2020 i received a premonition to read of hezekiah and his quest for God to heal him after being told by Isaiah that he would die. My fervent prayer today for those of us that have lost everything, is for God to turn back the hand of time and cause us to recover it as we turn our face to him in jesus’s name. Amen amen and amen.

I lost something that was dear to me and every night I go to sleep crying and praying for god to help go to the day when I lost it all so I can make my corrections and finally be at peace. I believe he will help but as days go by I just feel so dumb for doing what I did. I really need his help. I’m so depressed and sad all the time I just don’t fell like myself but I’m opening my heart faithfully and believing that he will help me when others don’t. I’m just hoping he can take me back.
